The GWiz Learning Partnership is a consultancy that specialises in inspiring the natural potential of organisations, leadership, management and individuals through OD, L&D and Executive Coaching.
Our mission is to inspire and empower people to be the best they can be in order for the world to be the best it can be.
We work with clients from a broad range of sectors and are heavily involved with the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development). We aim to work in partnership with our clients, enhancing the profile of leadership, learning and development in our client’s organisation.
We provide support in areas such as:
… facilitating and applying interventions at all organisational levels including director and CEOs.
… facilitating senior decision makers in formulating strategies for change. Designing and implementing change programme briefings and training.
Training analysis, design and delivery
… including fully supported programmes e.g. training modules, action learning sets, individual coaching, mentoring schemes and case study work.
… working with directors, CEOs and senior managers.
… providing mediation between individuals, teams and in one case working on a neighbourhood dispute (successfully).
… working with specific teams to either deal with problems or to turn effective teams into high performing teams.
A Brief History of The GWiz Learning Partnership
|1993||The organisation was first established by the partners Joe and Melody Cheal under the name Genesis Life Training providing interpersonal skills training to a range of companies.|
|1995||As well as working with a range of direct clients, the partners worked as associates with larger training providers for the following first five years. Associate work partners included MaST International, Grosvenor Training Services, Bray Leino and FTC.|
|2002||The organisation (Genesis Life Training) entered a short term partnership with Wiz Training as a ‘strategic alliance’. This alliance was called ‘The GWiz Training Project’.|
|2003||Re-branded independently as ‘The GWiz Training Partnership’. Relationships with clients continued, building over the long term… for example with Dixons Stores Group and the RSPB.|
|2004||‘The Little Book of Persuasion’ was published, a book written by Joe and Melody Cheal.|
|2005||Began running open courses including NLP Business Practitioner and Master Practitioner. These open courses became a constant feature including a successful and ever growing practice group.|
|2006||Added MBTI (Myers Briggs) profiling to the portfolio of services.|
|2007||Became ‘The GWiz Learning Partnership’ and launched the Institute of Leadership and Management suite of training programmes including Coaching and Management courses. Added MSCEIT (Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test) to the portfolio of services.|
|2009||Created new qualifications in Train the Trainer, Paradox Management, Conflict Resolution and Negotiations accredited with the ILM.|
